It is prepared very simply, from the most accessible ingredients. As a result, you get a particularly tasty, appetizing and aromatic treat, which will be a real star at the festive table. With a creamy and slightly spicy filling, this is an appetizer that will conquer everyone from the first. INGREDIENTS -1 kg of beef -1 onion -100 ml of dry white wine -400 ml tomato juice -2 cloves of garlic -2 eggs -200 g of cheese -3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs (white bread) -1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano -1/2 teaspoon of dried basil -1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley -1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper -1/2 teaspoon of salt METHOD OF PREPARATION 1. Clean and cut the onion halves into rings, as thin as possible. 2. Clean and press the garlic (if desired, you can give it through a small grater). 3. In a bowl, mix the garlic with breadcrumbs, basil, oregano, parsley and salt. Crack the eggs into the bowl and mix well. Add the grated cheese and mix until you get a homogeneous mass. 4. Arrange the meat on the work surface and cut along the grain. Don’t cut it all the way to the end because you don’t need two pieces of meat. Get a large piece of meat, 1 cm thick. 5. Sprinkle the meat with salt and ground black pepper. Arrange the filling and spread it evenly over the entire surface. Keep a distance of about 2 cm from an edge. Carefully roll the meat. 6. Tie the roll with a special thread. Thus, it will hold its shape well. Arrange the onions in a pan. Place the roll on top of the onion, side down. Pour the tomato juice and wine into the pan. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and put it in the oven preheated to 180°C for 2 hours. 7. Remove the roll from the oven and let it cool (do not remove the aluminum foil). When the roll has cooled, remove the aluminum foil and twine. Cut it into slices, 1.5-2 cm thick. Arrange the roulade on a plate and pour over the sauce in which it was baked.
