The Ingredients: Meatloaf Glaze:1/3 cup ketchup1 tablespoon tomato paste3 tablespoons brown sugar1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce1 tablespoon mustard Meatloaf:2 lbs ground beef 90% lean1 teaspoon dried parsley1 teaspoon Italian seasoning1/2 teaspoon ground paprika1/4 teaspoon red pepperflakes1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce1/8 teaspoon ground pepper1/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt1 small onion, finely chopped1 tablespoon minced garlic1 cup plain bread crumbs1 cup milk2 eggs beaten1 cup cheddar cheese shredded The Instructions: Preheat oven to 400°F Aluminum foil can be used to cover a baking sheet. Apply oil lightly. Set aside. Mix all ingredients for the “Meatloaf”, in the same order as the breadcrumbs. Mix well. Add the milk and beaten eggs. Mix until well combined. Mix in the cheddar cheese. Do not overbeat. Make a loaf of the beef mixture and place it on the baking sheet. Combine all glaze ingredients in a small bowl. Stir until well blended. Set aside. Use about half the glaze to coat the meatloaf. Bake the meatloaf in the oven for 45 minutes or until it reaches 160F. Bake for 15 minutes more, then brush the glaze on the surface.
