“French-style meat” is an extraordinary alternative to the classic schnitzel. It is prepared much faster, is very tasty and can also be served on festive tables. The recipe is a special one, the meat combines excellently with the onion and cheese and has a seductive aroma. The pork prepared in this way is very pleasant to the taste, juicy, slightly spicy, appetizing and attractive – a real pleasure for the taste buds.
INGREDIENTS
-500 g of meat (I used pork tenderloin)
-3 onions
-200 g of mayonnaise
-200-300 g of hard cheese
-tomatoes (optional)
-salt and pepper
-greens (optional)
METHOD OF PREPARATION
1. Cut the meat across the grain into 1 cm thick slices. You need to get such pieces:
2. Beat each piece of meat on both sides with a meat mallet.
3. Season each piece of meat evenly with salt and black pepper. You can leave the meat for 5 minutes, so that it soaks well with spices. The smell will be more fragrant if you grind the pepper before preparing the pieces.
4. Place the meat in a buttered pan.
5. Clean the onion and cut it into thin semi-rounds. Put the onion in a dense layer on top of the pieces of meat.
6. Pour mayonnaise on top.
7. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the meat for 30 minutes. Then remove the meat from the oven and sprinkle it with medium or small grated cheese.
8. Place the meat in the oven and bake until done, about 10-15 minutes. The cheese should melt completely and become orange and juicy.
9. The meat left a lot of juice, so I let it sit for 5 minutes to soak and served it hot at the table.
Note: if desired, you can sprinkle the meat with fresh chopped greens.
Our team wishes you bon appetit with your loved ones!
