Classic tiramisu – the favorite dessert in your kitchen!

The original Tiramisu cake is a simple cake with fine cream and coffee flavor. It is a homemade cake that is best served cold. We present you a fairly affordable recipe to prepare an absolutely delicious dessert. The family will be delighted!

ingredients

– 500 g of mascarpone cheese

– 4 eggs

– 5 spoons of powdered sugar

– 300 ml of cold espresso coffee

– 1 glass of sweet Marsala wine

– 200 g of Piedmontese biscuits for Tiramisu

– cocoa powder or dark chocolate

Method of preparation

1. Beat the egg whites into a thick foam. To get a denser foam, add a little powdered sugar towards the end. From the density of the egg white foam will depend whether the cream will be well fixed on the cake or not.

2. Whip the egg yolks with the powdered sugar. Add the mascarpone cheese and mix with a fork.

3. Add egg white foam little by little and mix.

4. Mix the cold coffee with the wine.

5. Dip each biscuit for 5 seconds in the coffee-wine mixture, then arrange in the tin.

6. Arrange half of the cream on the biscuits. Arrange another layer of coffee-dipped biscuits, followed by another layer of the remaining cream.

7. If you want a more pronounced aesthetic effect, arrange the cream with the help of a cake decorating nozzle, forming small cones of the cream arranged very densely next to each other.

8. Sprinkle with cocoa powder or grated dark chocolate.

9. Refrigerate the cake for 5-6 hours. During this time the cream will thicken.

Note: The mascarpone cheese can be replaced with homemade heavy cream. The wine can also be replaced with 3-4 tablespoons of brandy or orange liqueur mixed with 1-2 teaspoons of almond essence. If you have decided to sprinkle with cocoa powder instead of dark chocolate, use a small sieve. In the original way, the cake is taken with a spoon, not cut with a knife. It is eaten, the same with the spoon. Important, do not decorate with berries! This will already be another dessert, by no means a classic Italian dessert.
