The coffee mousse is a spoon dessert fresh and delicious, prepared with instant coffee, fresh cream, water and sugar. With its creamy consistency and irresistible aroma, it will be perfect to serve at the end of a meal in single-portion glasses, on the occasion of a dinner with special guests, to be enjoyed as a snack or used to fill desserts of all kinds.
Very easy to make, just whip the fresh liquid cream with the granulated sugar and delicately incorporate the instant coffee, dissolved in the warm water. By doing so, you will obtain acompound airy, swollen and very light, which you can use at the moment or keep in the fridge to use. if necessary.
If you prefer, you can replace the instant coffee with espresso, for an even more intense aroma: the important thing is to let it cool otherwise it would risk dismantling the cream and sugar mass. For a lactose-free version, however, you can use vegetable cream and, if you wish, slightly reduce the sugar dose.
You can flavor the mousse with a little of coffee liqueur or a drop of vanilla extract; if you like, you can combine it with some dry biscuits, cat’s tongues, dusted with bitter cocoa or garnished with flakes of dark chocolate: creamy and melting, it will conquer even your most demanding guest.
