Light Bolognese Lasagna

Here is the recipe for Light Bolognese Lasagna, a delicious complete dish of lasagna with ground beef, Bolognese sauce and a light béchamel, very easy to make and ideal for an evening meal.

Ingredients for 8 people: 
  • 15 lasagne sheets
  • 500g ground beef 5%
  • 2 onions
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 800 g of canned tomato pulp
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato puree
  • 100ml water
  • 150g sliced ​​mushrooms
  • 2 grated carrots
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt pepper

For the light béchamel:

  • 500ml skimmed milk
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • salt, pepper, nutmeg
  • 50 g grated parmesan
Preparation :

Start by grating the carrots then chop the onion and garlic.
In a frying pan, heat the olive oil then fry the carrots and mushrooms for 5 minutes.
Then add the meat and cook, stirring.

When the meat has taken on a nice color, put the tomato pulp and the tomato paste then pour the water, salt, pepper and let simmer for about 40 minutes.
Prepare the béchamel sauce, in a saucepan heat a little milk then dilute the cornstarch, add salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Then add the rest of the milk and allow to thicken while stirring.
When the filling and the béchamel are ready, preheat the oven to 180°C then assemble your lasagna.
Place lasagna sheets in the bottom of a gratin dish then pour a layer of Bolognese, after a layer of béchamel, then add a layer of sheets and repeat the operation 2 or 3 times and finish with the tomato sauce .
Finally, sprinkle with parmesan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
