Often, when you are on vacation, it can happen that plants dry out mainly because of lack of water. Sometimes neighbors or friends are asked to take care of them, but plants can die due to forgetfulness. Or even design alternative watering methods, perhaps not previously checked, which then cause the death of the plants.

If your plant looks dry and yellowed, it does not mean it is already dead. In fact, below we will show you how to check if your plant is still alive or not and, consequently, decide to treat it or not. The Solution for a Dry and Yellowing Plant: Go for It

As we said, if you have a dry and yellowed plant, this does not necessarily mean it is dead. We certainly do not guarantee miracles but you can try to keep your plant alive before throwing it away. If your plant is therefore in bad condition, the first thing to do is to understand if it is still alive or dead.

To check that your dry and yellowed plant is still alive, you must do an emergency hydration. What is it? Take a vase and pour a little water inside and a little ecological liquid fertilizer that you think is the best among those you have. Or ask your trusted florist.

Mix the fertilizer well with the water and then place the pot with the dry plant inside. Leave it like this for about an hour, then move the plant to a shaded place away from the sun. After a few hours, check the plant and if you see the branches beginning to green, this means that the plant is not dead. If there is still hope, we can move on to the next step. Continue to hydrate it for about 6 additional weeks, then go ahead and cut your plant. You must eliminate all the yellow and dry parts that block the good recovery of the plant. Only the healthy part of the plant should remain and therefore only the green branches and leaves. You must get rid of all the burned parts. Once this is done, you will need to continue to hydrate the plant with water and fertilizer as before. You can do this about once a week for an hour. Over time, the plant will begin to recover and become as healthy as before.

If on the other hand you notice that the branches of the plant continue to brown after the first emergency hydration, do not proceed because it is very probably dead and you will only waste time. Invest your time and your fertilizers in plants that have a chance to be reborn.
